Products & Services Bureau Ltd (PSB) is a company incorporated first in Malawi, and to the rest of the world, with the primary objectives of deterring ‘corrupt and fraudulent practices’ and rendering a society of ‘equal opportunities for all’. Using sophisticated procedural software applications, all suppliers, contractors and service providers within a country and on the globe, have equal access and exposure to customers. Customers and consumers, too, have one pool of categorised suppliers, contractors and service providers to pick from.

PSB is inviting applications from suitably qualified personnel for the position of SALES AGENTS tenable in Blantyre (10), Lilongwe (10), Mzuzu (10) and Zomba (10).

 

Job brief

To actively seek out and engage customer prospects by providing complete and appropriate solutions for every customer to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  1. Present, promote and sell PSB products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers.
  2. Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing or potential customers to meet their needs
  3. Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  4. Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  5. Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
  6. Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  7. Coordinate the sales effort with team members and other departments.
  8. Analyse the territory or market potential, track sales and status reports.
  9. Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services.
  10. Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  11. Continuously improve through feedback.

Requirements:

  1. A Diploma or degree in Business Studies.
  2. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
  3. Ability to build productive business professional relationships.
  4. Highly motivated and target driven character.
  5. Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills.
  6. Prioritising, time-management and organisational skills.
  7. Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs.
  8. Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
